Description

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces (113g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups (300g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1g) salt
  • 2 teaspoons (4g) ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup (100g) powdered sugar for rolling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, cream cheese, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Scoop dough into 1-inch balls and roll each ball in powdered sugar to coat completely.
  7. Place balls 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden and cookies are set.
  9. Let cookies cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
  10. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
