Description

Classic deviled eggs with a creamy filling, perfect for parties or appetizers.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (for garnish)
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped chives or green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Hard-boil the eggs by placing them in a saucepan covered with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Transfer the eggs to an ice bath for 10 minutes to cool.
  3. Peel the cooled eggs under running water and slice them in half lengthwise.
  4. Scoop out the yolks into a bowl; mix with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Fill each egg white half with the yolk mixture using a piping bag or spoon.
  6. Garnish with paprika and chopped chives before serving.

Notes

  • For easier peeling, try using older eggs.
