Description

A delicious and quick beef and noodles stir-fry made with fresh vegetables and a savory sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces egg noodles or rice noodles
  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1 large carrot, julienned
  • 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • For the sauce: soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Coat flank steak slices with cornstarch and add sauce; cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  3. Toss in cooked noodles until well coated.
  4. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
  • This dish can be made with chicken or tofu as alternative proteins.
