Description

Delicious warm pastries filled with caramelized nectarines and honey.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 3 medium nectarines (sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons honey (for caramelizing)
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for cooking)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional)
  • 1 egg egg wash (beaten)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced nectarines, honey, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Cook until the nectarines are soft and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares. Place a spoonful of the caramelized nectarines in the center of each square.
  3. Fold the pastry over to form triangles and press the edges to seal. Brush the tops with the egg wash and sprinkle with sugar.
  4. Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
