- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 oz sturdy tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded cheese (blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack)
- 1 cup fresh salsa
- ½ cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
- ½ cup jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
- ¼ cup chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook seasoned chicken breasts until golden brown (about 7-8 minutes per side). Shred the chicken once cooked.
- Spread tortilla chips on a large baking sheet. Layer shredded chicken on top, followed by shredded cheese.
- Bake for about 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and add fresh salsa, jalapeños, green onions, and dollops of sour cream.
- Serve immediately while warm.
