A delicious and nutritious Cherry Yogurt Parfait that’s perfect for breakfast or a snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup frozen pitted cherries (chopped)
  • 5 oz low sugar vanilla yogurt (I used Siggi’s)
  • ¼ cup full fat or low fat cottage cheese (I used Good Culture)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chocolate Catalina Crunch cereal (or other high protein cereal)
  • ½ Tablespoon low sugar chocolate chips (I used Lily’s)
  • 1 drizzle of almond butter

Instructions

  1. Add cherries to a bowl and top with yogurt, cottage cheese and vanilla extract.
  2. Set in the fridge for about 30 minutes to let the cherries thaw a bit, if desired.
  3. Top with cereal, chocolate chips and almond butter.
  4. Stir to combine and enjoy!

Notes

  • This parfait can be customized with different yogurts and toppings according to your taste.
  • For a sweeter flavor, adjust the amount of chocolate chips used.
