  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley (optional garnish)
  • Extra Parmesan for topping

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Boil spaghetti in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain.
  2. Butter: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  3. The Creamy Base: Add cream cheese and milk. Stir continuously until the cream cheese melts into a smooth sauce.
  4. Cheese & Seasoning: Stir in Parmesan, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  5. Pasta: Add the cooked spaghetti and toss to coat. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if the sauce needs thinning.
  6. Serve: Plate the pasta and top with extra Parmesan and parsley.
