Description
Delicious loaded nachos topped with ground beef, cheese, and fresh ingredients.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 cups tortilla chips
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup corn
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 unit avocado, diced
Instructions
- In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey, breaking it into smaller pieces using a wooden spoon. Cook until browned and fully cooked through, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat, if needed.
- Add your preferred taco seasoning or a pinch of salt and pepper for flavoring. Mix well and let it cook for another minute to absorb the spices.
- On a large serving platter or in individual bowls, layer the tortilla chips evenly.
- Sprinkle the cooked meat over the chips. Then, layer on the shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, black beans, and corn.
- Top your salad with a drizzle of sour cream and salsa. Add diced avocado for extra creaminess.
- Serve the salad right away for the best crunch. Enjoy!
Notes
- Choose your favorite brand of tortilla chips for the best crunch.
- Feel free to substitute the meat with beans or grilled chicken for a lighter option.
- Fresh corn will add sweetness to your dish.
- Consider using Greek yogurt as a substitute for sour cream.
