Description

A rich and creamy chicken dish featuring sautéed mushrooms and garlic.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 8 ounces mushrooms sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper then sear in butter over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden and remove from skillet.
  2. Add mushrooms to the same skillet and cook for 5 minutes until browned and tender.
  3. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds then pour in chicken broth and scrape the pan.
  4. Add heavy cream and Parmesan and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes until thickened.
  5. Return chicken to skillet and simmer for 5 minutes until cooked through then garnish with parsley.
