- 1 sheet Puff pastry (Thawed)
- 2 medium Nectarines (Pitted and diced)
- 2 tablespoons Honey (Adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon (Optional)
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice (Freshly squeezed)
- 1 egg (Beaten, for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon Sugar (For sprinkling)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine diced nectarines, honey, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into squares, about 4 inches each.
- Place a spoonful of the nectarine filling in the center of each square.
- Fold the pastry over to form triangles and seal the edges with a fork.
- Place the pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
Notes
- Make sure to adjust honey based on the sweetness of the nectarines.
- These pastries are best served warm.
