- 1 cup Softened Butter
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 large Eggs
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 8 oz Cream Cheese
- 1 cup Pistachios (finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add one egg, then mix in the all-purpose flour and baking powder until well combined.
- Spread this mixture into the bottom of your prepared dish.
- In another bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gently fold in the finely chopped pistachios.
- Pour the filling over the crust and spread it out evenly.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow the cake to cool slightly before cutting into squares and serve.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- These bars can be served chilled or at room temperature.
